We are thrilled to officially welcome our new club sponsor Fish Saltus. The company has agreed an initial three-year term with us and will be investing in various initiatives to make the Bourne Blades an even more enjoyable club to be part of. First of all, that means subsidising our fantastic new playing and training kit but look out for more activities and events coming soon.

Fish Saltus is a merger between two wealth management companies; Farnham-based Fish Financial and Saltus. The sponsorship was an agreement led by Fish Financial Managing Director, Ian Colley. Living in Farnham, Ian is a passionate supporter of grassroots sport with longstanding ties to the Bourne Blades. Under his guidance, Fish Financial has also been the principal partner of Farnham Rugby Club for the last two years.

Here’s what Ian had to say about the Blades sponsorship: “This club is extremely close to my heart. I know the guys who set it up, and the boys who played in the very 1st BB team and I have played for the Vets team for more than 10 years – although I’ll leave it to my former teammates to report back on the quality of my performances on the pitch! To sponsor my local community club and help take it to the next level is really exciting.”

We now have over 500 players across all age groups along with countless coaches, parents and volunteers who work tirelessly to keep the club at the heart of the community.
